WAC teams looking for bowl eligibility

All dressed up with no bowl game available?

Don't laugh. That could be one of the scenarios for a couple of teams in the Western Athletic Conference as the college football season enters its final month.

The WAC has bowl tie-ins with the Sheraton Hawai'i Bowl and the MPC Computers Bowl in Boise. The conference lost its third game when the Silicon Valley Football Classic was decertified last year.

Boise State and Fresno State are locks to get to seven wins and probably will finish 1-2 in the conference. Nevada (4-3, 3-1), Louisiana Tech (4-3, 3-1) and Hawai'i (3-5, 3-3) …
