Las Vegas businessman Brian Scroggins has been endorsed by Rep. Jon Porter, R-Nev., in his bid for secretary of state.
Scroggins faces a Republican Party primary against Danny Tarkanian.
"Brian Scroggins is a successful small business owner, just as I was," Porter said. "We need the vision of business leaders like Brian Scroggins as our secretary of state."
Scroggins is the owner of a sign company in Clark County.
