A memorial Mass for Mary A. Gallagher, 83, an 18-year Dayton resident, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Dayton.

Mrs. Gallagher died July 27, 2006, at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center. She was born April 2, 1923, in Scranton, Pa., to Patrick Joseph Gallagher and Sarah Burton.

Before moving to Dayton, Mrs. Gallagher lived in Scranton, Pa.

She was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School and worked at Arlington Industries.

She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church in Dayton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Gallagher, and her brother, William Gallagher.

Among her survivors are her daughters Mary Ellon Gallagher of Dayton and Katherine Stott of Pennsylvania; two grandchildren and numerous extended- family members.

Memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society.
