Two drivers killed in a head-on collision on Highway 50 four miles west of Silver Springs Tuesday have been identified as Diana Parsons, 50, of Fallon, and William Howell, 59, of Sheffield, Ohio.According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, at 3:55 p.m., an eastbound 1993 Lumina, driven by Parsons, crossed the double-yellow center line and struck a 2004 Dodge pickup, driven by Howell, head-on. The drivers of both vehicles were pronounced dead at the scene.A female passenger in the Dodge, Janice Howell, 61, of Fernley, was taken by Care Flight to Washoe Medical Center and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.An investigation continues …
