Carson City Mayor Marv Teixeira rides to City Hall after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor driving under the influence charge Thursday morning in Carson City Justice Court. The mayor was fined $650 and sentenced to 46 hours of community service, driver training and must attend a victim-impact panel. He said he rides his bike when he can't find a ride.
