A Carson City man was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of five felony charges, including kidnapping and child abuse.
Patrick Joseph James, 39, a merchant mariner, was arrested at 1:46 p.m. Tuesday in the 3200 block of Market Street on suspicion of false imprisonment with a deadly weapon, assault with a deadly weapon, second-degree kidnapping with a deadly weapon, child abuse or neglect with a deadly weapon and discharging a firearm in a populated area.
His bail was set at $150,000.
