Elyse Heberger and Cory Hershkowitz were both able to place for the Carson/Douglas Rodeo Club during this past weekend's Nevada State High School Rodeo hosted by Boulder City High.
Heberger had an outstanding day on Saturday, taking second in breakaway roping with 175.20 points and seventh in goat tying in 8.73 seconds. In Sunday's go-round Hershkowitz took second in bareback riding with 124.80 points.
