A Dastardly Act. Vandals that are desecrating graves at the cemetery will be severely dealt with. A watch has been put at the cemetery to find who is destroying graves and scattering flowers.

The brewery was broken into again last night. Patrolman Brule noticed a glass broken out on the door at the side entrance and found the marauder sitting in a chair at the back of the brewery. The young man was badly intoxicated and said he had no knowledge of entering the place.

The population of the Nevada State Prison was at a record high total of 260 this morning, following receipt of five new prisoners. Had the capacity of the wagon been greater, two more would have been brought in.

The Carson City Lutheran Church announces that regular worship services will be held each Sunday in the Capital City mortuary chapel. Until the arrival of the vicar in July, services will be conducted by Rev. Emil P. Leising.
