Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in court:

&#149; Frederick Joseph Atherton, 20, a painter from Carson City, was arrested at 6:22 p.m. at Fairview Drive and Lompa Lane on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor minor in possession of alcohol, speeding, seat belt violation, no insurance and probation violation. Bail was set at $3,799.

&#149; Christopher Schumacher, 25, of Carson City, was arrested at 4:37 p.m. in the 2500 block of Sherman Lane on suspicion of gross misdemeanor child endangerment and misdemeanor second-offense domestic battery. Bail was set at $5,500.

&#149; A 29-year-old man was arrested at 10:44 p.m. in the 3200 block of Market Street on suspicion of misdemeanor petty larceny and resisting a public officer. Bail was set at $1,479.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

&#149; A woman reported someone stole her chocolate and golden Labradors from her yard on Carson River Road. Later, her husband found the dogs two miles from their home.

&#149; Accident at Stewart and Seventh streets at 1:56 p.m.

&#149; Report of a man living in a tent behind the Nugget Motel on Stewart Street. He was arrested for trespassing.
