Local race teams complete first of double-header race weekend

TWIN FALLS, IDAHO - The Supermodified Racing Association raced at Magic Valley Speedway in Twin Falls, Idaho Friday, with Troy Regier, driver of the S&S Motorsports of Carson City finishing third, and Whitey Janssen of Dayton taking sixth.

The SMRA heads to Rocky Mountain Raceways in Salt Lake City today for the second of the 50-lap feature events.

The team of Dale Lamborn of Carson City, DNA Racing with Eric Silsby and Amy Barnes of Minden, and Kenny White driving for C&M Motorsports of Reno are not competing.
