Local woman’s quest for a photograph of one of Carson’s founders makes history

Benjamin Franklin Green, one of the four founders of Carson City, is seated in the front left in this photo, obtained by Louise Inman after months of research. Green was the only one of the four founders for which there was no known photo. Inman’s quest finally led her to distant relatives of Green, who found this photo in an old family album. The photo was taken between 1869 and 1883 in Nevada or California.
