Black bear captured, euthanized

A 400-pound black bear was tranquilized by Division of Wildlife Biologist Carl Lackey in the backyard of a Goldfield Avenue home Wednesday afternoon. Lackey recognized the bear as a problem bear relocated out of the downtown Carson City area several times over the past few years.
