Clinger has perfect attendance since first day of elementary school

Nathan Clinger, son of Stacie and Andrew Clinger, made Jacks Valley Elementary School history this year by not missing a single day of school from kindergarten through sixth grade. Principal Pam Gilmartin said no other student has completed seven years without an absence. Clinger is on the honor roll, received the school’s Block E award three straight years, attended the Junior National Young Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C., over spring break and is a Safe School Ambassador. He will attend Carson Valley Middle School next year.
