Vacation Bible Schools

Presbyterian VBS scheduled

The First Presbyterian Church of Carson City will host its annual vacation Bible school June 15-19. The theme is “Come to the Party.” Kids ages 4-5 years will meet from 6-7:30 p.m.

Grades first through sixth will have a longer session from 6 to 8:30 p.m.

Lessons teach that Jesus wants the whole world to come to Him. Kids will visit a Mexican fiesta; a European sidewalk cafe; an African safari; a Middle-Eastern oasis and an Asian bamboo grove, and will play international games, enjoy snacks made by kids, and sing and dance in our nightly Praise Party.

Cost is $10 per child or $20 per family.

Vacation Bible schools at St. Teresa

St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Community will host two week-long vacation Bible school sessions, one in the morning and one in the evening.

Sonshine Summer Vacation Bible School explores “God's Word” for children grades kindergarten through fifth. It will be 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. June 22-26; and 5:30-8:30 p.m. July 20-24.
