Carson City and Lyon County Sheriffs' log



Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 25-year-old unemployed McFarland, Calif., man was arrested at 10:32 p.m. Tuesday in the 3200 block of Market Street on suspicion of misdemeanor petty larceny, violation of a suspended sentence and destruction of property. Bail was set at $3,979.

• A 35-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 10:08 p.m. on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to ride on the right side of road and drunken pedestrian. Bail was set at $201.

• A 64-year-old retired Carson City man was arrested at 4:22 p.m. Tuesday at Carson and Bath streets on suspicion of misdemeanor driving under the influence and failure to use due care. Bail was set at $1,274.

• Annmarie Elizabeth Wyatt, 34, a homemaker from South Lake Tahoe, was arrested at 11:40 p.m. Monday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of felony uttering a forged instrument and attempting to obtain money under false pretenses. Bail was set at $10,000.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• Coroner call in the 3400 block of Northgate Lane at 4:22 p.m.

• Accident at North Carson and Bath streets at 3:51 p.m. One driver was arrested for DUI.

• Accident at Research Way and Old Hot Springs Road at 5:22 p.m. A driver was taken from the scene by helicopter and was suspected of being under the influence of alcohol.

• Report of a combative shoplifter at Wal-Mart at 10:08 p.m.

• A man reported at 6:56 p.m. that he loaned his car to a woman on Sunday and she still hadn't returned it.

• A man on Woodside Drive reported his 13-year-old son was trying to fight him at 10 p.m. The child was arrested.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• Misdemeanor arrest at South Lyon Medical Center in Mason Valley at 12:50 a.m.

• Misdemeanor warrant arrest on Main Street in Fernley at 4:39 a.m.

• Misdemeanor arrest on B Street in Fernley at 1:55 a.m.

• A gas station clerk reported a man came into the Highway 95 A shop in Fernley, distracted the clerk and made off with a roll of quarters at 6:13 a.m.

• Report of guns stolen from a vehicle on Grey Bluffs Drive in Fernley at 6:06 a.m.

• Vehicle burglary report on 10th Street in Silver Springs at 6:06 a.m.

• Arrest on Highway 50 East in Silver Springs at 5:06 p.m.
