Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Lenox Lacour, 25, unemployed from Carson City, was arrested at 6:58 p.m. Wednesday in the 3900 block of Pheasant Drive on suspicion of gross misdemeanor possession of brass knuckles and misdemeanor contempt of court. Bail was set at $3,000.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Report of someone trying to syphon gas from a vehicle on Northgate Lane at 7:36 a.m.

• An 18-year-old Carson High student was arrested at the school at 8:30 a.m. after a Sheriff's Office drug sniffing dog allegedly found a marijuana pipe in her purse in a classroom.

• Report of a man crashing a vehicle into the sidewalk at Moses and Curry streets at 2:53 p.m. and walking away.

• Report of a child left alone in a vehicle outside Safeway at 4:28 p.m.

• Coroner call on Medical Parkway at 4:40 p.m.

• Report of a man stealing an empty purse from a woman walking in the 2100 block of Highway 50 East at 5:50 p.m.

• Coroner call on Medical Parkway at 6:18 p.m.

• A caller on Hot Springs Road reported she asked her neighbors to move their vehicle at 9:12 p.m. The caller said the male neighbor yelled at her “and mooned her.”

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Felony arrest on Dayton Valley Road at 1:39 a.m.

• A Stagecoach caller reported at 10:46 a.m. a neighbor on Apache was “stacking garbage” on the property and in vehicles, causing a stench to waft to the caller's home.

• Report of a domestic dispute on Highway 50 in Silver Springs in which a woman slapped a man and threw beer on him.

• Felony arrest on Ben's Way in Fernley at 7:26 p.m.
