Kenneth Hoffman, 90, of Carson City, died at home on Nov. 23, 2009. He was born on April 3, 1919, in Maywood, Calif., and resided in Long Beach, Calif., and South Lake Tahoe, Calif., before moving to Carson City in 1986. Among his survivors are his wife of 62 years Shirley Hoffman; sons Stephen Hoffman of Grass Valley, Calif., and Kenneth Wayne Hoffman of Santa Barbara, Calif.; one nephew; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. At his request, no services are planned. Neptune Society and Walton's Chapel of the Valley are in charge of cremation.
