Head-on collision in Gardnerville kills Carson Valley man

A Ford Expedition and a Chevrolet Silverado collided on Highway 395 south of Riverview Drive in Gardnerville on Thursday morning. The driver of the Silverado, James Perry, died in the accident. The other driver was flown to Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno. His condition is unknown.
