Lyon County police are on the scene of an apparent murder and attempted suicide in Silver Springs. According to a press release, officers were called out to a home at 3466 Deodar Street just before 1 p.m. by a man who claimed he'd just killed his girlfriend and he was going to kill himself. The man also said there was a child in the home and "tell the cop to come on in," the release states.
