George H. Hillman, Jr., 95, of Carson City, passed away on May 22, 2012. He was born in Saginaw, Michigan on August 8, 1916 to George and "Mimmie" (Marie) Hillman. George married his loving wife, Jean, on March 7, 1946. They recently celebrated 66 years of marriage. They came to Carson City from Florida 17 years ago. George was a decorated Air Force Captain who served our country during World War II as a Bomber Pilot. He was shot down on his last mission and was a Prisoner of War until the war ended.
