Man gets prison for theft, gun crimes

Anthony Todd Martin, 32, was sentenced to 10 to 27 years in prison Tuesday after being found guilty of property and violent crimes.

He was sentenced on five felonies: Burglary, theft, being an ex-felon in possession of a firearm, assault with a deadly weapon, and discharging a firearm at or into an occupied structure.

According to court records, on Aug. 24, 2011, Martin pointed a shotgun at a woman while making "angry demands and accusations" and also fired it into a garage occupied by another woman. In the second case, Assistant District Attorney Gerald Gardner said, the belongings of half-a-dozen …
