OBITUARY: Anita A. Petri

Anita A. Petri passed away June 8, 2011. She was 92 years old. Anita was born December 19, 1918 in San Francisco, CA to Peter and Olga Camozzi. She graduated from Galileo High School in San Francisco and from business school to obtain her accounting degree. For many years, she worked for Foremost McKesson in San Francisco as an accountant. She moved to Zephyr Cove, NV in 1972. Anita was a Catholic and member of Our Lady of Tahoe Catholic Church in Zephyr Cove, where she was active in the Ladies Guild and the Pine Cone Ladies. She was also active in the Tahoe Douglas Senior Center.

She loved to entertain and teach her Italian cooking skills, especially baking her biscotties. Anita enjoyed gardening, crafts, and traveling. In traveling abroad with her husband Bill, they visited Europe, China, Japan, New Zealand, Russia, Australia, Canada, Mexico, and the Holy Land, and spent many winters in Desert Hot Springs, CA.

Anita was preceded in death by her husband, William Raymond Petri. Following Anita's death, on September 3, 2011, her loving brother, Robert F. Camozzi, passed away. She is survived by her only son, William David Petri and his fiancee, Grace Moran, both of San Francisco, CA and her dear nieces, Leila Lyons, and Denise Turner, and their respective families.

A Memorial Mass will be Friday, June 29, 2012 at 11:00 AM at

Our Lady of Tahoe Catholic Church,

1 Elk Point Rd. in Zephyr Cove, NV.

Inurnment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Colma, CA.
