Joseph Tant Welch, 88, of Carson City, passed away peacefully at home with his family June 30, 2012. Joe was born March 30, 1924 to Joseph and Annie Welch in Throckmorton, Oklahoma. He married Virginia Webb November 14, 1948, in Galveston, Texas, Joe was an U.S. Army veteran who served both in World War II, and the Korean War. He was discharged with honors, and settled in El Centro, California, where he worked for the United States Gypsum Company for 36 years.
