Getting expired or unused prescription drugs out of the bathroom medicine cabinet and into pill-dumping stations Saturday can keep them from being circulated in area high schools, Partnership Carson City Executive Director Kathy Bartosz said.Those pills, ranging from narcotics to heart medicine for a teenager’s parent or grandparent, can have a street value and be highly addictive.“If grandma or grandpa are suddenly becoming interesting (to your teenager), there could be an issue there,” Bartosz said.Getting the pills off the streets is the goal of Saturday’s Drug Take-Back Day, being put on jointly by the Drug Enforcement Administration and local law …
