Tickets are on sale for the Douglas County Historical Society’s Haunted Weekend set for Oct. 18-21.The weekend starts early on Oct. 18 with the Haunted Minden Ghost Walk. Tours depart from the CVIC Hall on Esmeralda Street in Minden. Tour times are 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. Ghost hunters and history buffs. Northern Nevada Ghost Hunters lead a real ghost investigation Oct. 19 at The New Rancho Grande in Gardnerville, the former historic Ritchford Hotel.
