Mr. James Duffy Sr., died at 11 the night before last at his residence due to an ulceration in his stomach. He had been sick but a few days. He has been a businessman since 1862, and for some years was engaged in the manufacture of soap. He met with several reverses; his factory burned twice after which his dwelling house burned. The deceased was 60 years of age.
