Carson boys avenge earlier loss to Miners

Carson High's Michael Samii said the Carson Senators spent a lot of time thinking and talking about the first game against Bishop Manogue during practice.In the first game, the Senators let a two-goal lead slip away and had to settle for a 2-2 tie when the Miners scored the controversial game-tying goal in extra time.Carson left no doubt this time around, scoring three first-half goals en route to a 5-0 win in a Sierra League match Wednesday night.Carson improved to 4-3-4 heading into Saturday's match at home against High Desert leader Spanish Springs."It was in our minds a lot," Samii …
