Miners dominate Carson in 3

Carson coach Robert Maw said he saw improvement in his team, but it wasn't near enough to stop Bishop Manogue on Thursday night.

Manogue, led by Morgan Carlson, Shannon Sullivan, Kelsie Hill and Katelyn Oppio had a field day hitting against Carson in the 25-21, 25-19 and 25-7 victory at Morse Burley Gym.

"I thought we played better tonight than we did the last time we played them," Maw said. "We played much better than we did the last two matches.

"They are a well disciplined team, and we weren't able to shut down their outside hitters (Hill and Sullivan) …
