A man who would play an Eastern advertising firm in this villainous manner had better be getting his ascension robes to the nearest laundry and have the spots taken out.

Governor Oddie was a departure for Ely last evening where he will personally investigate the strike situation. The governor announced yesterday it is best he go look into conditions and confer with both sides of the controversy.

Captain Lawrence, military instructor and physical director of the army and naval cadets training in Carson, was the luncheon guest of the Lions Club in Carson. Deputy Attorney-General W.T. Mathews was the principal speaker and discussed the constitution of the United States.
