Dean Heller calls for bipartisan cooperation in U.S. Senate

In the wake of a victory that gave the Republican party one of its few bright spots in this election, Sen. Dean Heller on Wednesday said more bipartisan cooperation in the Senate is vital to fixing the nation’s problems.“I hope the new body that comes together has more of a tendency to work together,” he said.“We’ve got to solve this,” he said in an interview from his Carson City home.He said the problems the nation faces can be solved but not without cooperation.“Republican ideas are not going to become law,” Heller said. “Democratic ideas are not going to become law. …
