Fred Kessler, President of Anchorage Construction Management in Carson City, passed away on Nov. 22, 2012 after suffering a heart attack. Fred was born in Queens, N.Y. on March 30, 1948. He attended Ithaca College in Ithaca, N.Y. and received his BS degree in Construction Management from the California State University, Chico. Fred loved building and got his start on Nantucket Island. He spent many years working in Alaska. He completed Welding and Millwright certifications and Carpenter's Union apprenticeship in Oregon and Alaska and worked on the Alaska Pipeline project.
