Joanne V. Slater passed away Dec. 4, 2012 in Gardnerville, Nev. after a valiant fight with brain cancer. Joanne was born in Oakland, Calif. to James V. and Peggy Schramm Oct. 4, 1955. Joanne was preceded in death by her sister, Jane Green and mother, Peggy. Joanne will be missed by her father, Jim (Fran) Schramm; children, Dennis and Matt Slater; grandson, Dennis Alan; sister, Jean (Michael) Webb; brother, George (Carma) Schramm; cousins; nieces; nephews; and many treasured friends and extended family.
