Surrounded by family, Edith Mitchell passed away quietly at C.T.R. Hospital, on Saturday Dec. 22, 2012. She was born to Philip and Louise on July 11, 1923 in Glendale Calif. To her great joy her first great granddaughter; Amelia was born the same day 78 years later. She always called Amelia her twin. Edith grew up in Glendale in Southern Calif. In August of 1946 she married the love of her life Ross Mitchell, enjoyed 63 years together, and raised two daughters Deborah and Marlene.
