Officials: No leads on missing teen

Douglas County Sheriff's Office is offering a $1,000 reward for information about a teen who came to the area to attend SnowGlobe and has reportedly been missing since New Year's Eve.

In a press conference Thursday afternoon, officials stated they had no leads on the the whereabouts of Petaluma resident Alyssa Byrne, 19, who was reported missing on Jan. 1.

Tahoe Search and Rescue joined the search Thursday morning, according to sheriff's deputy Greg Almos. Teams started setting up a search area near Horizon Casino Resort, the place where she was last seen early on New Year's Day.
