The Carson Water Subconservancy District has selected the Minor Ranch family of Dayton to receive the 2013 Andy Aldax Carson River Watershed Award for exemplary service in conservation and protection of the Carson River watershed. This award was created in 2007 to recognize individuals or organizations for significant contributions in promoting and achieving goals of the Carson River Watershed Vision Statement.
