Supervisors drive toward golf goal, wind up in water hazard

Supervisors whacked a drive down the middle of the fairway in accepting and debating a report on Eagle Valley Golf Course problems, but then kerplunked into a water hazard Thursday. To put it in less sporting terms, the Carson City Board of Supervisors accepted a performance auditors' report on lease terms with golf complex operators.
