A Johnson Lane woman surrendered peacefully after a nearly five-hour stand-off in the northern Carson Valley neighborhood on Monday.The woman was taken into custody at about 6 p.m. after crisis negotiators responded to an address on Squires Street at about 1:16 p.m.Douglas County deputies responded to a report of an armed woman with suicidal tendencies standing in the yard of the home.
