Elisabeth Imogene Utt, 94, passed away Jan. 16, 2013 in Carson City, Nev. Betty was born in Bird City, Kan., to Omer and Jessie Snell. She attended Kansas Wesleyan University where she met her future husband, Richard Utt, and graduated from University of Iowa. She taught English at the Carson City Junior High for eighteen years. She was a 75 year member of PEO and a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church. She thoroughly enjoyed travel, and she was active in camping, cruising and overseas visits.
