Carson City’s 2013 Board of Equalization was sworn in Tuesday, went through an hour of orientation and then handled one routine matter before adjourning until Feb. 5.The five-member board that handles property tax issues for city-county government has two new members, though one of those brings previous experience. Assessor Dave Dawley said Lori Bagwell joins the board, representing Supervisor Brad Bonkowski, and Roy Semmons returns to the board after a four-year absence.
