A free “Stop the Car, Dad!” exhibit of photographs by the late Erik Lauritzen is featured through March 1 in the new Laxalt Building Gallery at the offices of Nevada Magazine, 401 N. Carson St. While traveling the often-deserted roads of Nevada, the famed photographer depicted quirky evidence of humans affecting Western landscape.
