The Carson City Board of Supervisors passed items paving the way for financing the purchase of the downtown office building known as the city's Business Resource Innovation Center.They voted to do so, however, only after a discussion prompted when Supervisor Jim Shirk wanted to make certain payments for the Redevelopment Authority using the structure would continue.City supervisors decided earlier to buy the building just northeast of City Hall.
