Coincidental timing has occurred with the start of the 77th Nevada Legislature and the actions of my own classroom. My government students have recently started Mock Congress in which the students created bills, conducted committee hearings and are now debating bills in the committee of the whole.How a bill becomes a law is coming to life not only in the Nevada Legislature, but also in my classroom.
