Fundraiser to benefit Bragg’s family following alleged road-rage incident

Friends of a 19-year-old woman killed after an apparent January road-rage incident are holding a fundraiser, raffle and silent auction Sunday to help pay for raising her 5-month-old son.

The fundraiser for Desiree Bragg’s son, Tristan, will be at 2 p.m. at the High Sierra Brewing Co. on North Carson Street.

Organizers still seek donations for both the raffle and the silent auction. To set up a donation, call Halley Smith at 714-931-0749.

“A lot of local businesses have been supportive,” organizer Stephanie Murry said.

Among the silent auction items are homemade quilts, a hand-crafted silver necklace and a bicycle. …
