James Louis "Jim" Carey, 57, resident of Carson City for the past 35 years went home to heaven on February 12, 2013 after an 8 month battle with cancer, his three sisters were by his side. He was born on May 25, 1955 in Portland, OR to Betty and Gus Carey. He was the baby brother to his three sisters. He graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in 1973.
