(AP) — A proposal for a specialty license plate marking 150 years since Nevada became a state has had its first hearing in the Legislature.The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports the bill went before the Assembly Transportation Committee Thursday, but didn’t go up for a vote.Neena Laxalt of the Nevada Sesquicentennial Planning Committee says her organization is happy with the proposed design, which is royal blue and resembles the state flag.
