Carson City Senior Menus for week of April 15

Note: Lunch menus for the week of April 15 subject to change without notice.

Choice of beverage is included.

CARSON CITY

Carson City Senior Citizens Center, 911 Beverly Drive:

MONDAY: Salmon, wild rice, broccoli with cheese sauce, berries in the cloud and bread with margarine.

TUESDAY: Barbecue chicken, corn bread with honey, mixed vegetables and ambrosia.

WEDNESDAY: Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, corn, pineapple and butterscotch pudding.

THURSDAY: Sub sandwich, baked potato chips, three-bean salad and peaches.

FRIDAY: Clam chowder, French bread, carrot raisin salad and Jell-O with fruit cocktail.

DAYTON

Dayton Senior Center, 320 Old Dayton Valley Road:

MONDAY: Meatball sandwich with mozzarella cheese, French rolls, green beans, stewed tomatoes, potato wedges, cottage cheese and pineapple.

TUESDAY: Barbecue chicken, baked squash, cucumbers in sour cream, biscuits and honey and ambrosia.

WEDNESDAY: Taco salad, beet and onion salad, tortilla chips and strawberry shortcake.

THURSDAY: Hot turkey sandwich, gravy, whole-wheat bread with margarine, mashed potatoes, cucumber, tomato and onion salad with dressing and pears.

FRIDAY: Baked ham, scalloped potatoes, green beans, whole-wheat rolls with margarine, bananas, cake and ice cream.

DOUGLAS COUNTY

Douglas County Senior Center, 2300 Meadow Lane:

MONDAY: Ham with apple cranberry salsa, fresh baked yams, lettuce and tomato salad with French dressing and apricot cobbler.

TUESDAY: Chicken pasta, herb veggie medley, chopped fresh spinach with honey dressing, garlic bread and spiced applesauce.

WEDNESDAY: Taco salad with lettuce, tomato, cheese, salsa and sour cream, Spanish rice and apple crisp.

THURSDAY: Barbecue beef fajita wraps, coleslaw, ranch style beans, frosted apricot gelatin and dessert.

FRIDAY: Crab quiche, crescent rolls, broccoli, romaine salad and sherbet.

STOREY COUNTY

Storey County Senior Citizens Center, corner of E and Mill streets in Virginia City:

MONDAY: Chicken pasta alfredo, Brussels sprouts, salad and dessert.

TUESDAY: Split-pea soup, meatball sandwich, cucumber with sour cream and oranges.

WEDNESDAY: Turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, cranberries and biscuits.

THURSDAY: Beef patty on a bun, baked beans and cantaloupe.

FRIDAY BREAKFAST 10-11: Eggs, bacon, hash browns, bagels and fruit.

YERINGTON

Yerington Senior Center, 117 Tilson Way:

MONDAY: Chicken tacos, ranch style beans, corn, rice pudding and milk.

TUESDAY: Chicken pasta primavera, green salad and garlic bread.

WEDNESDAY: Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, gravy, steamed spinach, lettuce and tomato salad, French dressing, whole wheat bread, peach butter and Jell-O with oranges.

THURSDAY: Baked stuffed pork chops, baked beans, herb vegetable medley, whole-wheat dinner rolls and fruit cups.

FRIDAY DINNER 5:30 p.m.: Cornish game hens, baked potato, vegetables and salad.
