CHS is big underdog in regionals opener

Since the 2007-08 season, Carson High’s girls basketball team has faced Reno seven times, and the results have been ugly. Reno has outscored Carson by an average of 31 points, including a 60-13 shellacking to open the 2012-13 season. And, because of their loss at Douglas on Friday, the Senators must travel to face the top-ranked 25-1 Huskies at 7 p.m. today in the first round of the Division I regional playoffs.
