A deer jumps over a fence on Mountain Street in front of Gov. Brian Sandoval on Wednesday morning. The governor walked to work in recognition of Nevada Moves Day, in which students are encouraged to walk to school.

Bordewich-Bray Elementary School fifth-graders Breanna Elliott and Kylieann McFadden walk to school as part of Nevada Moves Day. Students met at the Governor’s Mansion, where they spoke to the governor before the walk.
