Retired Nevada Supreme Court Chief Justice Robert E. Rose was seriously injured this morning in a single vehicle rollover while on his way to Fallon to conduct Drug Court. Rose, 73, suffered rib and sternum injuries, but they are not life-threatening, according to multiple sources. He is under observation at Banner Churchill Community Hospital in Fallon. The accident happened shortly after 7:30 a.m. near the intersection of U.S. Highway 50 and York Lane.
