Carson City’s Fire Department ambulance service and the library building roof won priority ranking over some other capital needs from the Board of Supervisors on Thursday. Finance Director Nick Providenti told board members that his projections narrow the prospective city government general fund capital budget for fiscal year 2013-14 to about $350,000. Earlier, City Manager Larry Werner and Providenti had hoped for more from general revenues. “It just means,” Werner said, “that we don’t have any excess funds.” Providenti explained.
